The Research On The Kinship Appellation Of Xinxian Dialect

The kinship appellation intuitively reflects the complex structure of the human society after language processing,which based on consanguinity kinship and affinity.The kinship appellation is closed related to the entire socio-cultural,political background,traditional habits.It usually refers to consanguinity and affinity in-laws within five generations,with distinct regional characteristics.Studying the status of kinship appellation in some certion area,can learn about ethical system,values,geographical psychological of this region.At the same time,the kinship appellation is a dynamic system.Its forms and contents are prone to have some subtle changes as society changes,which can be likened to a barometer for studying Han nation culture and dialect characteristics.The research takes the relative appellation in Xinxian dialect of Xinyang cicy Henan province as the research object.The abstract of the dissertation mainly introduces the cintent,significance and method of the research,as well as the previous studies on the kinship appellation and Xinxian dialect,ect.Focusing on the sources of the corpus of this dissertation.In the main part of the dissertation,the concepts and classification of kinship appellation are firstly summarized,and then the appellation in Xinxian dialect is divided into four types of paternal appellation,matrilineal appellation and wifery appellation based on the large amount of corpus obtained from field survey,so as to outline the appellation system of kinship in Xinxian dialect.On this basis,from the number of syllables,forms,with different means with alients,planes,said and back,analyzed the Xinxian dialect kinship appellation form characteristic,from his terms,female appellation is relatively abundant,relatives appellation of symmetcrital distribution,female said male phenomenon in Xinxian the use of dialect kinship appellation characteristics were analyzed.Finaly,the paper from the perspective of synchronic linguistics,the Xinxian relatives appellation system compared with modern Chinese mandarin,analyzing the commonness and difference,from the perspective of diachronic linguistics,explore the kinship appellation of Xinxian dialect system along with the development of the era of simplifiction and generalization,changes and the reasonsbehind.The Chinese kinship appellation system has a strong stability.The research of this paper finds that most of the kinship appellation in Xinxian dialect has been used all the time without great changes,especially among the people born in the 1970 s and before,it has a high stability.However,with the improvement of people's education level and the influence of the promotion of putonghua by the state,especially the acceleration of urbanization in recent years,the kinship appellation of Xinxian dialect is simplified and close to the modern Chinese mandarin.
