Appellation Study In Jin Fen Shi Jia

Republic of China is an important period of language and cultural change,appellation has strong particularity of times and sociality.Known as the 20th century,Dream of Red Mansions,Jin Fen Shi Jia intuitively display Republic of China,especially the social environment in 1920s.This is the first time to put the appellation of Jin Fen Shi Jia as the study of special books.This paper focuses on the analysis and elaboration of characteristic vocabulary.It tries to reveal the characteristics of the appellations in Republic of China period by classifying,enumerating and counting the appellation in the book.Republic of China period is the transition period in which the ancient appellation changed to modern appellation.The social and cultural characteristics are expressed by literal meaning.This paper is divided into five parts.The introduction mainly introduces the development history and the research status of the appellation,the theoretical definition of the appellation and the classification basis of this article.The first part lists the appellations in the Jin Fen Shi Jia and analyzes its characteristics.Through enumerating all the appellation in the Jin Fen Shi Jia,the appellation is divided into two categories:kinship appellation and social appellation.Kinship appellation is divided into paternal appellation,maternal appellation,husband and wife appellation.Social appellation is divided into prospective relatives appellation,known appellation,personal pronoun appellation,ranking appellation,respect and modesty appellation and identity appellation.In these terms,through frequency statistics,vocabulary explanation and the analysis of example sentence,this paper summarizes the characteristics of appellation in Jin Fen Shi Jia which represents the early years of Republic of China.To achieve the goal,special words are unscrambled in this paper.Besides,the features and the cultural characteristics in the era of the words are studied.The appellations in this era not only retain the traditional habits of China,such as the equality and identity principle,but also show the new features of this era background in which a large number of new titles appeared,the same title is plural,and different degrees of change in appellation system.The second part mainly analyzes the special appellations in the Jin Fen Shi Jia,and hopes to further study and show the characteristics and changes of the appellations in the historical background.Such as the alternative use of partial appellations,the use of alternative terms,the change of the meaning of some appellations in the context,the new term titles in Republic of China,the transliteration word influenced by western culture.The third part mainly introduces the social and cultural characteristics of the Republic of China reflected by the fourth chapters of Jin Fen Shi Jia.Appellation is one of the most streamlined records of social evolution,and one of the most able to reflect the characteristics of the social age and cultural characteristics of the language system.So the times and the social culture is the most prominent characteristics of the appellation.Through appellation study about Jin Fen Shi Jia,we can find,the political characteristics of Republic of China are manifested by social unrest and frequent political changes;economic characteristics are the refinement of handicraft industry,the booming of entertainment industry,and the rise of capitalist economy;the cultural and ideological characteristics are deeply rooted in the idea of democracy and equality,and also the feudal tradition is deeply rooted;the social characteristics are the emerging of a large number of new industries,exorcism consciousness and the retain about a lot of feudal remnants.The conclusion part mainly summarizes the whole text.The second part lists all the appellations in the book and analyzes its characteristics.The third part mainly analyzes the special appellations.These all re:flect the social changes that have taken place in the times indirectly.Through studying the appellation in Jin Fen Shi Jia,it can partly see big things through small ones,also can partly reflect the political characteristics,economic characteristics,cultural and ideological characteristics and social characteristics of the early Republic of China.
