"Transitivity Hypothesis" And The Study Of Modern Chinese Sentence Patterns

The SVO-sentence pattern is the basic sentence pattern in modern Chinese,and the ba-sentence and bei-sentence are the representative marked sentence patterns in modern Chinese.Based on the "Generalized Transitivity" theory and "Three Planes " theory,The degree of transitivity of the three sentence patterns was analyzed by the method of quantitative analysis and the method of comparative analysis,and analyzes the "Covariant Relation" of the ten parameters.It is found that the transitivity of the typical ba-sentence is higher;the transitivity of the typical bei-sentence is lower and the transitivity of the SVO-sentence is lowest.And the "Covariant Relation" of the ten parameters to measure the transitivity of a sentence is considered as a "Prototype Category",the "Covariant Relation" of the ten parameters which at the core position is close,and the "Covariant Relation" of the ten parameters which at the edge position is lower.The full text consists of five chapters.The first chapter is the prolegomenon.This chapter mainly illustrates the research object and significance of this paper,expounds the related research status of the "Generalized Transitivity" theory,and briefly explains the theoretical methods adopted in this paper and the sources of language materials.The second chapter studies the transitivity of the SVO-sentence and the typical ba-sentences.Firstly,the SVO-sentence and the typical ba-sentence are introduced,and then the ten parameters of the SVO-sentence and the ten parameters of the typical ba-sentence are calculated,And then compare the transitivity of the two sentence patterns.The result shows that the transitivity of the typical ba-sentence is generally higher than that of the SVO-sentence,but there are exceptions to some parameters.The third chapter studies the transitivity of the SVO-sentence and the typical bei-sentences.Firstly,the typical bei-sentence is introduced.And then the ten parameters of the SVO-sentence and the ten parameters of the typical bei-sentence are calculated.The result shows that the transitivity of the bei-sentence structure is generally higher than that of the SVO-sentence,but there are exceptions to someparameters.The fourth chapter studies the transitivity of the typical ba-sentence and the typical bei-sentence.The ten parameters of the typical ba-sentence and the ten parameters of the typical bei-sentence are calculated,and then compare the transitivity of the two sentence patterns.Then found that the transitivity of the typical ba-sentence is higher than that of the typical bei-sentence,but there are exceptions to some parameters.The fifth chapter is the conclusion.This chapter summarizes the full text and points out the innovations and shortcomings of this paper.
