A Study On The Construction Of “Wang(?) V Li(?) VP”

This paper studies the composition and syntactic function of the “wang(?)V li(?)VP” construction based on the authentic texts retrieved from the Internet.Drawing on the data derived from BLCU Corpus Center,this paper investigates the“wang si li VP” construction and analyzes its internal hierarchy.The paper also analyzes the construction of “wang hui li VP”and “wang kai li VP”,undertaking a contrast analyses with the “wang + directional verb + VP” construction,especially analyzing the use of the “wang hui VP”construction.In the end,the paper explains the inheritance link between“wang A/V li VP” and “wang N li VP” from the Cognitive Construction Grammar perspective.This paper is divided into six parts:The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly introduces the purpose and significance of the topic,summarizing the previous research results and putting forward the existing research problems to be solved.It also explains the theoretical methods and the source of the corpus.The second chapter mainly studies the construction of “wang V li VP” based on the authentic texts derived from the Internet,also analyzing the syntactic function of the construction.The third chapter analyzes the composition,syntactic function and construction meaning of “wang si li VP”.It investigates the use of “wang si li A”,analyzing the inheritance of “V-A” in “wang si li XP”construction.The fourth chapter studies the collocation and semantic features of “wang hui liVP” and “wang kai li VP”,and makes a comparative study with the “wang +directional verb + VP” construction,especially the “wang hui VP” construction.The fifth chapter analyzes the relations between “wang A/V li VP” and “wang N li VP”.It discusses the nominal characteristics of V of the “wang V li VP”.It also analyzes the inheritance of “wang A/V li VP” and “wang N li VP” from the perspective of the Cognitive Construction Grammar.The sixth chapter is the conclusion,which summarizes the main points of the paper and points out its deficiency.
