The technology of swarm robotics is inspired by the swarm activities of the species in the nature.Under one single instruction, the robots in the swarm get to finish the assigned task collectively with clear division of labor. Also, there are certain informative communication languages between these robots.Featuring simple structure, low cost and high flexibility, swarm robots can be applied in many scenarios such as storage and transport, security and anti-terrorism and emergency rescue and thus have broad development prospects in the future. Thus it has become a popular topic of robotics home and abroad in recent years. This translation report is based on the E-C translation of Human Interaction with Robot Swarms:A Survey,The translator takes Nida's dynamic equivalence theory as the guidance, and launches his translation practice from lexical, syntactic and discourse aspects, respectively.Meanwhile,he adopts logic and cohesion theory from systemic functional linguistics, and tentatively applies the zero-translation theory at the lexical level,so that the theoretical basis of the whole translation practice is further enriched. This translation practice enables the translator to clarify the application of translation theories and learn about the characteristics of EST texts. It is hoped that this article can provide some insights for domestic robotics research.
