Beiguan No.1 tomb in She County is a rare large tomb of high-ranking nobles in the Warring States period in Hebei Province,a complete set of musical instruments from the Warring States period,including 29 bronze chimes and 10 stone chimes,were unearthed in the tomb,these musical instruments can be roughly divided into four categories,including the Bo bells,Yong bells,Niu bells and Stone chimes,they are all the core members of the rites and music of the Central Plains in the pre-Qin period,most of them are practical Musical instruments,the musical instruments are decorated with careful patterns,Bo bells,Niu bells and Stone chimes have clear pitch settings,the relationship of musical instrument combination is clear.This paper focuses on the comprehensive analysis of chime instruments unearthed from Beiguan No.1 tomb in She County,first of all,according to the general situation of the tomb and the important information of the main funerary objects,the state should be owned by Zhao;through the interpretation of the shape,pattern,musical characteristic and musical instrument combination of the chime-bell of the tomb,this paper makes a comprehensive analysis combined with the characteristics of the times;then through the research of musical instruments and literature,the paper discusses the use of musical instruments in Zhao state and the cultural attribute and significance of Zhao state's music;finally,combined with the local cultural resources,This paper explores the modern development of Zhao music culture.
