Malaysia is one of the countries with a relatively high concentration of Chinese people,where Chinese is the symbol of solidarity of the Chinese community.Malaysia Chinese language has been rooted overseas for a long time even though it originated from mandarin.Therefore,some special words have been formed gradually that are different from Mandarin Chinese.These words are the reflection of the local Chinese social life,which also reflect the language habits and ways of thinking in this region.Research on the chinese-specific vocabulary in the local textbook Gatebook to Mandarin Chinese can not only know about Malaysia Chinese culture,but also be of great significance to the compilation of local textbooks in other countries,as well as the development of local Chinese and the international spread of Chinese.Based on A Comprehansive Dictionary of Global Huayu edited by Li Yuming,comparing with Chinese mandarin vocabulary,this paper summarizes some special words as the research object from Malaysian local Mandarin textbook Gatebook to Mandarin Chinese,that are used in Malaysia Chinese but not in Mandarin.At first,this paper accounts the number of these special words and analyzes the distribution.Secondly,classification.The paper has subdivided these words into six types according to the content and significance and three main types in grammar by reference on comparison method of Mandarin-Singapore vocabulary:Special words,Homonyms and Heteronyms.What's more,research on formation of the special vocabulary of Malaysian Chinese.Through studying the origin of these words,it is concluded that is mainly influenced by Chinese dialect,Malay and English.Finally,this paper analyzes the influence of chinese-specific vocabulary of Gatebook to Mandarin Chinese and puts forward some suggestions.by means of questionnaires.
