The Analysis And Investigation Of Current Situation Of Chinese MTCSOL Cultivation In Guangdong University Of Foreign Studies

In recent years,with the rise of the "Chinese Popular" in the world,the demand for Chinese language learning in the world is growing.Domestic Chinese promotion work is also in full swing.According to the latest information from the Ministry of Education,as of 2019,there have been 151 colleges and universities recruiting master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Language.So far,China’s overseas Confucius Institutes and Confucius Classrooms are almost all over the world and the demand for the Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Language has been expanded in order to cultivate more talents who meet the requirements for national Chinese language promotion.Guangdong University of Foreign Studies became a postgraduate training unit for Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Language in 2009.After that,it established the Chinese International Education Center,which is affiliated to the Chinese Language and Culture Institute,combining its own characteristics and existing conditions.So far,GDUFS has set up this profession for nearly 10 years,and is still in the process of continuous exploration and continuous improvement.During the professional construction process,some experience has been accumulated in terms of training objectives,curriculum,teacher team building,study practice and student employment.The number of students registered for postgraduate examination in the school in 2020 has reached more than 600 and has gained a good reputation.At the same time as the achievement,there are also certain problems with this master’s degree.Compared with Beijing Language and Culture University,East China Normal University,Jinan University and other leading schools for MTCSOL,there are still many things that can be improved for GDUFS.This thesis investigates from the aspects of curriculum setting,teaching practice,essay writing,employment issues,etc.,in order to discover the problems existing in the professional construction process of the MTCSOL,and on the basis of it,we can give some constructive suggestions,and Professional future construction direction and outlook.
