Study On The Side Brush-tip Of Mi Fu's Running Script Letters

With a splendid history of thousands of years,Chinese calligraphy is an indispensable unique ancient art in Chinese civilization.Among them,on the calligraphy pen in the study of the "center" and "flank" debate,the position of the calligraphers have different emphasis,different opinions.This paper chooses "flank" as the main research object,starting from the definition of "center" "flank" concept differences.Taking Mi Fu's writing as support,dialectically to see how to use "center" and "flank",and using the analysis of Mi Fu's "eight front" to break the shackle of "pen pen center".The "side front" pen in Mi Fu's writing style can follow the style of the pen and use different angles,forces and speeds to write,making the brush more expressive.Therefore,this paper only takes Mi Fu's correspondence as a case study,and combs the specific application of Mi Fu to the "side front" along the time line formed and evolved by Mi Fu's "side front".Through the comparison of several important calligraphers who play the role of connecting the preceding and the following in the style of Mi Fu's books,the artistic value of "side front" pen is deeply discussed.It is expected that the performance of the "side front" pen in Mi Fu's handwriting will be regarded as an important point of this paper,which will have an enlightening effect on the creation and imitation of calligraphy.
