| As a necessity of the communicative language ability,vocabulary is an important basis for developing language skills.Vocabulary serves for the understanding and expression of language.Through vocabulary learning,students should improve comprehensive ability of using language and cultivate their ability to think and to express their ideas in English.At present,there are many problems in English vocabulary teaching in senior high school,which are mainly manifested in the lack of effective vocabulary teaching methods for teachers,the monotonous teaching content,the neglect of the cultivation of students’ learning interest and thinking ability,the dissatisfaction of students with the vocabulary they have mastered,and the weak awareness of cooperative learning.Therefore,in practical teaching,teachers should pay attention to the teaching of English vocabulary,cultivate students’ ability to use vocabulary flexibly,and then improve their overall English proficiency.With the development of information technology,the traditional teaching structure and teaching methods have gradually changed.Under this circumstance of informationization driving the modernization of education,the flipped classroom teaching mode came into being,which has become a teaching method that features self-study and is supplemented by teachers’ guidance.Therefore,combining and applying flipped classroom teaching mode with the English vocabulary of senior high school students will greatly help improve their English vocabulary proficiency.Based on flipped classroom teaching mode,this paper analyzes the English vocabulary of senior high school students.There are two main research questions in this paper:(1)What effects do the application of the flipped classroom teaching mode have on senior high school students’ attitudes to English vocabulary?(2)How does the application of flipped classroom teaching mode in senior highschool vocabulary teaching affect students’ English vocabulary learning ability?The author carries out an 18-week comparative teaching experiment with two parallel classes in Grade 1 of Taiqian Senior High School as the experimental subjects.In this study,the data from vocabulary tests,questionnaire survey and random interview are statistically gathered by the software Word and SPSS20.0.to analyze the practical application effect and the validity.After the research analysis,it is found that flipped classroom teaching mode can stimulate students’ interest in vocabulary learning,correct their attitude towards vocabulary learning,and improve their ability of autonomous and cooperative learning.Moreover,flipped classroom mode can improve the current situation of English vocabulary teaching and improve students’ performance on vocabulary tests and on English tests.It can help students master the method of learning vocabulary and improve students’ ability of learning vocabulary. |
