Research On Cultural Communication Of Confucius Institute In The Philippines Based On Social Media Platform

With the advent of the web 2.0 era,the way of communication and communication between people has changed tremendously,and the media as a basic driving force for social development has become more diverse,providing unprecedented convenience for the spread of culture.The social media generated in the new media background has become a leader in cultural communication with its outstanding openness,timeliness,interaction,sociality and other advantages,and because of its numerous "young fans" group in the world it's becoming more and more popular.As a language communication institution established overseas by China,the Confucius Institute communicates the soul through language and uses the concept of cultural communication.To better implement the function of cultural communication in the new media era,the Confucius Institute must closely follow the trend of the times and explore cultural diversity.At the same time,take into account the diversity of the media.This thesis combines the author's one-year experience of cultural communication in the Philippines and the collection of cultural communication data on the social platforms of the Confucius Institutes in the Philippines.,according to using social media platforms for cultural communication,the author has analyzed the current situation and existing problems of Confucius Institutes in the Philippines,and then according to Laswell's 5W communication principles and practical cases,explore ways and models suitable for the Confucius Institute of the Philippines to use social media platforms for cultural communication in the new media era.
