The Application Of Mechanical Practice And Meaningful Practice In Teaching Measure Words

In this paper,the author compares the differences between the mechanical practice and the meaningful practice,analyzes the test results that was using the two methods teaching measure words “pi,tiao,tou,zhi” in different classes,and then analyzes the merits and demerits in order to exploring how to teach Chinese effectively in Philippine.Due to the consequence,the author holds the idea that the meaningful practice is more suitable to the learner who wants to get a long-term progress,and this method can develop the ability of listening,speaking,reading and writing.In order to improve the Chinese proficiency of Xavier School's students,Chinese teachers need to learn how to teach effectively,meanwhile,combine this method with high-tech.Based on the test results and reflection,the author designs a lesson plan so as to putting forward some effective teaching practice in teaching measure words.
