In the history of Chinese and foreign dance exchanges,the existence of translators is hidden but not obvious.They often hide behind the text,recite and convey the intention of the original work,and build a bridge for Chinese and foreign dance exchanges.As the first generation of dance translators in New China,Zhu Liren's translation of dance is faithful and fluent in language,which not only extends the life of the original,but also enriches the theory of dance in China.Under the background of dance communication between China and foreign countries,this paper analyzes Zhu Liren's translation practice and dance theory from the perspectives of history,dance science,translation cultural history,communication science,etc.,and on this basis summarizes and combs the internal relationship between Zhu Liren and dance communication between China and foreign countries.The main part of this paper is divided into four chaptersThe first chapter,combined with the modern transformation of modern literary translation,reviews the historical origin between literary translation and dance exchange,and then leads to the origin of Chinese Professional Dance translation.At the beginning of its establishment,Beijing Dance School shouldered the mission of socialist advanced literature and art construction.The Soviet Union,which belongs to the same socialist camp with China,accumulated rich experience in dance teaching and editing,so it became the main object of learning and learning for Beijing Dance School at that time.With the continuous visits of Soviet experts to China and the increasing frequency of dance exchanges between China and the Soviet Union,dance translators have made an indispensable contribution to the development of the school.The second chapter,based on Zhu Li's dance translation practice in different periods,explores how the Sino Soviet dance communication changes with the cold and warm of Sino Soviet relations.Zhu Liren's dance translation career is divided into four periods,each of which has different emphasis on material selection.His early dance translation mainly focuses on dance application theory,and later on the basic theory of dance.His choice of translation in different periods not only adapts to the development needs of micro dance schools,but also relates to the macro era,culture and social background.The third chapter,through the analysis of Zhu Liren's dance translation,reveals the explicit and implicit mechanism of each independent translation.Zhu Liren's dance translation,from the choice of the translation,to the interpretation of the meaning of the original text,to the final output,is based on the subjective and objective factors,with the translator's application orientation behind it.Zhu Liren's translation of each dance is unique,which not only embodies his own ingenuity,but also deeply conforms to the needs of the specific era and the development of dance discipline.Chapter four reviews Zhu Liren's achievements in Dance Studies and makes an objective evaluation of his translation and writings.In terms of dance translation achievements,although his dance translation has played a huge role in promoting the development of Chinese Dance discipline,it also has some deficiencies in the scope and integrity of selection due to the limitations of the times and history and other objective factors.In the research of dance history theory,he compiled and completed the book "history of Western Ballet",which made a useful attempt for Chinese scholars to actively explore the research field of Western dance history theory and had a pioneering significance.Zhu Liren has been translating and writing hard all his life.His ultimate goal is to promote the communication between Chinese and Soviet Russian Dance cultures,whether it is his translation and introduction of dance application theory in the early stage or his emphasis on basic dance theory in the later stage.His emphasis on material selection in different periods not only shows his cultural consciousness as a Chinese scholar,but also his assiduous pursuit for the construction of Chinese Dance discipline,and also reflects his unremitting efforts as a dance translator for the exchange of Chinese and foreign dance all his life.
