Study Of Interactive Relations Between Hungarian Tribe And Roman Empire In 5th Century AD

As the increasingly frequent interaction between Hungarian Tribe and the Roman world since the late 4th century,the Roman Empire had gradually stepped into a new era full of crises and challenges.This is because the emergence of Hungarian Tribe accelerated the decline of Roman civilization as well as Western empire,and even affected the historical development of Europe for more than a century.On the other hand,during this process,Roman Empire also promoted the improvement of Hungarians' weapons,facilitated the updating of tactics,and drove the integration of Hungarian Tribe into civilized world.This paper makes an overview of the politics,economy and culture of Hungarian tribe and Roman Empire in the late 4th century.Based on the time clues,the interaction between Hungarian Tribe and Roman Empire,including the outbreak of war and the signing of the contract,is sorted out.In terms of exploring the influence of the interaction between Hungarian Tribe and Roman Empire,most of the existing literatures merely focus on the negative impact of Hungarian Tribe on Roman Empire.But instead,this paper not only studies the demise of Roman Empire caused by barbarian migration and the economic losses to the Roman Empire after signing the Treaty,but also considers the military aspect,such as the emergence of Hungarian Tribe has aroused people in Roman Empire to learn the excellent riding skills and objectively expanded the spread of Roman culture in the Mediterranean area.Besides,this paper also analyzes the influence of Roman Empire on Hungarian Tribe from the perspective of national integration.As the Hungarian Tribe flooded into the Roman Empire,Hungarians gradually accepted the Roman culture and integrated into the Roman society by turning into an “ethnic group”.This reflects that during the national migration,the ethnic groups that separated from their own cultural foundation will inevitably be assimilated by other ethnic groups.Apart from being the result of the conflicts between the nomadic and farming nations in the European world,the interaction between Hungarian Tribe and Roman Empire also manifests an extreme collision between the two worlds,presents the barbarian migration,and reflects great changes in the Mediterranean era.That is to say,such interaction is the collision not only between two nations,but also between two values and customs.The course of history is always accompanied by continuous integration and exchange between nations,from ancient times to this globalized society,no nation in the world can exist in isolation.Thus,a brief analysis of the influence generated by the interaction between Hungarian Tribe and Roman Empire can help both view this turbulent history objectively and better look at ethnic integration in today's society.
