Based on previous studies,this paper redefines the concept of "learning adaptation".The learning adaptation of foreign students in China is divided into five aspects: cultural adaptation,learning attitude adaptation,learning ability adaptation,teaching mode adaptation and interpersonal relationship adaptation.From these five aspects,this study analyzes the overall adaptation of Chinese learning of foreign students in China.Taking the foreign students from Hubei University of Technology as an example,through the way of quantitative research and qualitative research,this study explored the Chinese learning adaptability of foreign students in China,and then used statistical software SPSS23.0 collated and analyze the data.This study found that in terms of the learning adaptation of foreign students in China,the best one is the cultural adaptability of foreign student in China,the weakest one is interpersonal relationship adaptability.Specifically speaking,the cultural adaptability of foreign students in China > learning attitude adaptability > learning ability adaptability > teaching mode adaptability > interpersonal relationship adaptability.The adaptability of learning ability has great room for improvement,and we should concern with the enhancement of the adaptability of interpersonal relationship,too.In the terms of its influencing factors,the gender,age,region,the length of time to learn Chinese and the level of Chinese language of foreign students in China affect their adaptability of Chinese learning.Among them,the region,the length of time to learn Chinese and the level of Chinese language have a great influence on the adaptability of Chinese learning of foreign students.Based on the actual investigation of the life of foreign students in China,this paper tries to explore the Chinese learning adaptation of foreign students in China,analyze the factors that affect the adaptability of Chinese language learning of foreign students in China,then put forward teaching suggestion from three aspects: foreign students,teachers and regulators.It is expected to help international students to adapt to living in our school as soon as possible,improve their Chinese language performance,and provide references for the Chinese language education in our school as well.
