In this new era,the development of Internet information influences the whole world more rapidly and extensively. From central cities to marginal villages, the characteristics of the era, represented by economic integration and cultural diversification, are reflected in all aspects of production and life of different populations in different regions.Lahu people have long been living by the middle reaches of the Lancang River,Laodabao Village,Jiujing Town,Lancang County,Pu'er City,Yunnan Province, but under the influence of this era, their survival idea and cultural consciousness formed in the relatively closed social ecology based on blood, geography, ethnics and religion are becoming increasingly blurred,so Lahu people are facing choices for the future development. The folk song and dance music of Laodabao Village is the most characteristic symbolic system in the Lahu culture, whose connotation and structure are often expressed in the form of traditional song and dance music.Since the world entered modern society,Laodabao Village affected by the external environment has no longer stayed in the past peaceful state but gradually embedded into the complex modern Chinese cultural environment.Affected by the complicated social environment, the elements of social order and daily life of Lahu people have undergone explicit and implicit reconstruction to varying degrees in different ways, and the survival mode and performance field of traditional folk song and dance music have also experienced profound changes.Based on Lahu song and dance music performance in Laodabao Village that has attracted a lot of attention in recent years as well as intensive field investigations, this thesis with cultural reconstruction as a theoretical purpose deals with applied research from the perspective of anthropology of music in the following three parts: introduction, body and conclusion. The introduction includes the research background, significance, objectives, contents, theories and methods and reviews relevant research status and literature, and the body consists of the following four chapters:The first chapter describes the emergence and survival space of traditional folksong and dance music in Laodabao Village in detail and combines with local geography, ethnic origin, local customs, life etiquette, social economy and other external factors to elaborate the survival environment and emergence field of Lahu sing and dance music from spatial and temporal perspectives. The second chapter analyzes the causes and motives of contemporary folk song and dance music performance in Laodabao Village. This chapter reviews the complex factors from society such as the collection of folk music organized by the cultural authorities, governmental implementation of intangible cultural heritage, and rapid development of rural tourism as well as the ethnic development needs with a view to exploring the “conspiracy” of Laodabao Village folk song and dance music performance between protection of ethnic music culture and livelihood ethnic members. The third chapter summarizes the fields and types of contemporary folk song and dance music performance in Laodabao Village. As a rural tourist town,Laodabao Village has gradually been affected by social factors, and the fields, forms and functions of traditional folk songs and dances have shown modern stage features in performance, art and appreciation. This chapter summarizes the performance contents into three types: traditional, adapted and innovative from the perspectives of form, content and element. The fourth chapter deals with the cultural reconstruction of Lahu song and dance music in Laodabao Village. It mainly explores the folk song and dance music in Laodabao Village that is indispensable in the core of ethnic culture.During the process of cultural change,it is necessary to inherit the traditional Lahu culture at both the internal and external levels and integrate with the modern culture to reconstruct the inclusive ethic culture.Due to factors derived from the rapid social development, over the past ten years, the folk song and dance music in Laodabao Village has moved fast from the internal daily life to the outside public and,in order to meet the needs of the times,it has formed a special performance mode and entered the complex modern social environment. Therefore, the Lahu music culture has integrated into the current worldvision with more diverse expressions through reconstruction.
