The dialectic of desire comes from Hegel,or Hegel as interpreted by Kojčve.Later on,through lacan's reading of Hegel under Kojčve's interpretation,we have the basic concept of dialectic of desire."The desire of man is the desire of the other",this maxim is the basic principle of lacan's desire theory.In the process of documentary shooting,the photographer and the subject often face the problem of orientation of desire,that is,how to satisfy the subject's desire when the photographer completes his desire through shooting.Time photo studio is the author's graduation work.The film focuses on a father and son in a studio that spans 20 years.This paper will take the creation experience of the film "time photo studio" as the research object,with Hegel,lacan's dialectic theory of desire as the guidance.Through the creative experience of the photographer in the process of in-depth contact with the subject,this paper explains why the desire of the self and others appears in the process of documentary creation,and how to realize the desire in the process of filming through images.This paper mainly includes the following four aspects:Chapter one: introduction.This paper mainly expounds the background and significance of the topic,and systematically sorts out the current situation of theoretical research related to this paper.The academic research on the dialectic of Hegel and lacan's desire,as well as the research on the relationship between characters and ethical issues in the process of documentary creation.Chapter two: the concept of dialectic of desire and the overview of character documentary.Including the theory of dialectic of desire,the historical evolution and development of character documentaries.Chapter three: the discussion of the desire relationship between the photographer and the subject in the creation process of the documentary time photography studio.It includes the relationship between the two characters' desires,the dialectic of recognition relationship,and the application of the dialectic of desire satisfaction in the process of documentary shooting.Chapter four: the use of dialectic of desire on the creation of in-depth elaboration and research.The academic circle has not made in-depth analysis of documentary creation from the perspective of desire mechanism,but has mostly interpreted the relationship between characters in documentary creation through the issue of ethical relations.Through in-depth discussion,to supplement the research vacancy,so that it has universal significance.
