The Audio-visual Language And Its Function Of Folk Documentary

Based on the rich local characteristic culture,the documentary of folklore focuses on the display of local folklore characteristics and the development of local culture through the expression and recording of local folklore.Based on my graduation work "Wan Gu Tai Ping",this paper deconstructs the creation of folk documentary and analyzes the influence on the audience from three aspects: the picture language,the sound language and the function of the relationship between sound and painting,and summarizes the expression function of audio-visual language in folk documentary.Taking graduation works as an example,this paper holds that narrative and expressive picture languages in documentary picture language have a great influence on folk custom documentary.At the same time,this paper expounds that commentaries,simultaneous sounds and music in documentary sound language have the function characteristics of controlling rhythm,showing reality and setting off atmosphere.In the discussion of the relationship between sound and painting,this paper holds that paying attention to the synchronization of sound and painting and the separation of sound and painting play a positive role in the creation of folk documentary.The paper finds that although the narrative method of "story" in documentary has influenced the creation of documentary in recent years,this narrative strategy is not suitable for the creation of documentary with folk themes.
