Chinese character teaching is an indispensable part of international Chinese teaching.Whether the arrangement of Chinese Characters in Chinese textbooks in-Korea is an important way to understand the position of Chinese character teaching in Korea.This paper will focus on Chinese textbooks published in Korea,through the comparison with the corresponding Chinese version textbooks.Additionally,the analysis of a survey collected in Korean schools will support a comprehensively investigation of the arrangement of Chinese characters in Korean textbooks.This paper will summarize the characteristics of the arrangement of Chinese characters in Korean textbooks,to find any existing problems and deficiencies,while also making relevant suggestions and countermeasures based on the results of the analysis.This paper is divided into five chapters:The first chapter is the introduction,in which the origin,explains the purpose,significance,current situation,methods and ideas of the research will be outlined.The second chapter will analyze the arrangement of Chinese characters in Korean local Chinese textbooks.Two well-known local Chinese textbooks designed for primary Chinese learners will be used to focus on the specific analysis of the arrangement of Chinese characters.The third chapter is the analysis of the arrangement of Chinese characters in Chinese version textbooks and the comparative analysis of Chinese and Korean textbooks.The arrangement of Chinese characters in these two selected Chinese textbooks was investigated,focusing on analysis of Chinese character's,specifically for the glyph,pronunciation,meaning quantity level and exercise design of Chinese characters.Furthermore,the comparison between the arrangements of Chinese characters in the Chinese version and Korean version textbooks based of the findings Chapter Two.The fourth chapter is teachers and students questionnaire survey and analysis on the satisfaction level of Chinese character arrangement in Korean local Chinese textbooks.Through investigation and analysis of teachers and students views on the content of Chinese characters in teaching materials,this chapter will indirectly highlight any problems in the arrangement of Chinese characters in Korean textbooks.The fifth chapter will comprehensively explain the problems existing in the arrangement of Chinese characters in Korean local Chinese textbooks and suggestions for these problems.The sixth chapter is the conclusion,which summarizes the main points and conclusions of this paper,and point out any shortcomings of this study.The goal is that this paper will provide help to improve the compilation of Chinese character teaching materials in Korea,improve the teaching of Chinese in Korea and increase the interest of Korean students in learning Chinese and Chinese characters.
