In recent years,"Chinese fever" has swept all over the world, people's love for Chinese is gradually increasing, more and more people begin to learn Chinese and study Chinese.Norway, which is located in northern Europe,is also one of its representatives to join the"Chinese learning craze"."Chinese" is one of the optional courses of the second foreign language in Norwegian middle schools, and the number of Norwegian students who choose"Chinese" as a second foreign language is also increasing year by year.As one of the "three kinds of teaching",textbooks play a certain role in promoting students' interest in learning;the compilation and publication of "localized Chinese textbooks" are also increasing with the increasing popularity of learning Chinese. Therefore, combining my own teaching experience during my internship in the Confucius Institute in Bergen,Norway, and participation in editing teachers' books and students' exercise books of the second volume of textbook "St(?) P(?)!",is the source of inspiration for my research. The two volumes are studied and analyzed in all aspects.Through the questionnaire survey and online interviews of the students in the Confucius Institute,Chinese teachers and volunteers in Norway,we obtained the needs of the students under the Confucius Institute for Chinese learning and teachers' attitudes and views on writing localized Chinese Textbooks in Norway. The paper consists of five chapters:The first chapter is the introduction, mainly introduces the background and significance of the topic, research contents, research methods, and summarizes the relevant literature. The second chapter firstly presents about requirements of the new Norwegian syllabus, and introduction of foreign language teaching,as well as Chinese teaching in Norway. Then it introduces the self-compiled textbook "St(?) P(?)!"comprehensively. It includes:the overall design ideas, the writing style of single lesson, the analysis of Chinese language elements, the design of culture and Chinese characters, the text content and after-school exercises, and also teaching auxiliary materials. The third chapter focuses on the results of the questionnaire survey and online interview, which is the basis for the needs of Confucius Institute Students to learn Chinese! In order to measure"St(?) P(?)!" whether all aspects match the students' expectations,we compared the results from surveys with analysis of textbook in the second chapter. The fourth chapter is to analyze and summarize the conclusion of the second and third chapters, and extract suggestions for the corresponding textbook compilation and revision. The fifth chapter is the conclusion, which summarizes the main points of the paper,as well as shortcomings, and prospect of the future research. To sum up,this thesis gives a brief introduction and a preliminary analysis on localized Chinese textbook "St(?) P(?)!",including both external and internal design of this textbook Through questionnaire survey and online interviews, obtained the needs and attitudes of local students and teachers on the compilation of localized Chinese textbooks. So as to put forward corresponding suggestions for the compilation and revision of subsequent textbooks.
