In the process of consecutive interpretation, interpreting notes play a crucial role, moreover, the notes of interpretation with high efficiency are of great help for translators to relieve the burden related to quick memorizing, sort out the logic of the discourses and deliver the target languages which are fluent in this regard. But in terms of the notes of interpretation with low inefficiency, they will influence the fluency, completion and logical structure of the target language. So,it's a issue worthy of being concerned and discussed regarding how to improve the efficiency related to notes of consecutive interpretation. In the paper,it carries out further analysis of the performances of notes of interpretation with high efficiency and notes of interpretation with low efficiency in Japanese-Chinese consecutive interpretation by taking the simulation conference for Koizumi Shinjiro's speech as an example. Moreover, its influence on interpretation is also elaborated with the relevant countermeasures being proposed accordingly.Firstly, the author sorts out and summarizes the relevant literature, confirms the standards for judging the efficiency of notes of interpretation and the respective performances in this aspect. When it comes to the notes of interpretation with high efficiency, there are no invalid information generally, the contents of notes are completed and the logical structure is clear. However, when it comes to the notes of interpretation with low efficiency, the consequences include information redundancy, information omission and shortage of logic. The situations are especially apparent in the Japanese-Chinese consecutive interpretation that there is a longer affix, but the meaning is very simple or there is no practical meaning for such affix because of the grammatical features of Japanese. In such circumstances, the redundancy of note information will occur easily, which further leads to low efficiency finally;meanwhile, since both Japanese and Chinese languages adopt Chinese characters which are complicated in strokes,so the speed of note-taking is reduced to some degree and the information of notes is incomplete. Some examples are presented by the author after careful sorting in accordance with the expression forms related to efficiency of notes and they are also analyzed one by one. Then,it summarizes the effect of notes efficiency on Japanese-Chinese consecutive interpretation based on case analysis. The highlights include the effect on the target language itself and the effect on the translator's energy distribution in the process of consecutive interpretation. In terms of the effect on the target language itself,it is manifested in fluency, completion and logicality of the target language. In terms of the effect on the translator's energy distribution,it is manifested in excessive energy cost for coding and decoding of notes, which leads to reduction of energy in the aspects of listening, memory and communication,as well as issue of unbalanced energy distribution. At last, the relevant countermeasures for increasing the notes efficiency on Japanese-Chinese consecutive interpretation are discussed which mainly contain intensifying the systematic training of note-taking,reducing the excessive dependence on notes and properly adopting the interpretation strategies. It is expected that the countermeasures proposed in the paper are able to help interpretation learners practice note-taking accordingly and enhance the overall quality and efficiency of interpretation.
