The source text of this translation project is selected from the first part of Accounting & Business Ethics, which introduces the information of accounting and ethics. As a social science text, the academic knowledge and the closely logical relationship make it is difficult to be understood. In order to solve problems about complex logic relationships and ambiguous semantics of the original text,it will focus on analyzing the deep meaning and the internal logical relationship of the original text. This report combines logical knowledge with some translation examples.Grammatically,it accurately understands the modifying relationship between each component in the sentence.Logically,it makes a logical analysis on the semantics of the original text.In order to make the target text conform to the ways of thinking and the expressions of the target language, the translator should adopt appropriate translation methods.According to the differences of logical thinking between English and Chinese, the logical relations of the original text has to be converted and reconstructed by changing the conjunctions, adjusting the word order and converting the implicit logic into explicit logic. In the end,in order to solve the problems that were caused by the differences of thinking, the translator should make a logical analysis in combination with context, and the target text has to be proofread logically. This translation practice report consists of five chapters. The first chapter briefly introduces the content of the original text. The second chapter introduces the description of the translation process,it includes the preparation of relevant professional knowledge before translation, the translation process and the post-translation proofreading. The third chapter firstly introduces the definition of logic, the function of logic and the relationship between the logic and translation.Secondly,it focuses on the comparison between English and Chinese. The comparative study is carried out from three aspects: logical word order, logical cohesion, explicit logic and implicit logic. The fourth chapter focuses on the analysis of typical logical phenomena involved in the process of translation.Starting from the comparative study of English and Chinese languages, the logical relations are transformed through a variety of different translation strategies,so as to achieve the requirements of reflecting the logical relations of the original text accurately. The fifth chapter summarizes the limitations in translation practice.
