Pronunciation is one of the three elements and also the foundation of language,only by studying the pronunciation can you master a language completely.Tones are the important part of modern Chinese phonetics,and they play a distinguishing role in that.The same syllable,with different tones,can express different semantics.Therefore,learning tones is a necessary condition for learning Chinese.The article first conducts a questionnaire survey of 80 Chinese learners from four Confucius Institutes in Romania to know the situation of their tonal acquisition,and then choose 30 learners from the Confucius Institute at Cluj Babes-Bolyai University as the research object.On the basis of observation and teaching records,design the corresponding tone test materials,and then collect learners' reading recordings for research.After a preliminary investigation of the types and causes of the errors,Praat software and T-value analysis method are used to extract and process the data of the recordings,and the individual tones and two-character tones errors that the learners show will be recorded and collected as forms.As well as the tonal errors of the two-character group in the short sentence,they are displayed in the form of a chart,sorted and analyzed.Through analysis,it was found that Romanian learners have the most serious tone errors is the third tone,pronunciation of second tone is better,the first tone and last one are easily confused.In the two-character words,the overall error rate of words starting with first tone and second tone is low,and the rate of words starting with the third tone and last one is higher.Even the same tone,the error rate of single-character or as the first character in two-character words is different.The two-character words appear in different positions in the sentence,the errors are also different.The article analyzes the causes of errors from the aspects of negative transfer of mother tongue,insufficient phonetics teaching models and methods,and proposes targeted teaching strategies.Firstly,based on the characteristics of Chinese music,combined with relevant music theory knowledge,to help learners find thecorrect tonal range and pronunciation method to establish tonal awareness.Then adjust the tonal teaching sequence according to the difficulty of learners,and establish the distinguishing characteristics of tones in turn.Finally,focus on the two-character tones to strengthen their language in context.It is expected to provide method and strategy reference for the teaching of Chinese tones as a foreign language,and make Chinese teaching more efficient.
