Proverbs are condensed in semantics,deep in connotation,and widely used.They can improve the tension and accuracy of language in practice.The learning and use of Chinese proverbs are some of the difficulties for Chinese learners in the intermediate and advanced stages.Learners are prone to make mistakes in the process of proverb acquisition.At present,the problem of errors in the acquisition of proverbs by students in the academic circle needs to be studied in-depth,and the teaching content and teaching methods of proverbs still need to be further explored.The article uses the proverbs involved in the third volume of the “Chinese Course”,the intermediate sprint,and the advanced flying chapter of “Boya Chinese”as the corpus,and selects middle and advanced students from six Chinese schools in Thailand to investigate the proverb acquisition situation of the students,Collect the error corpus with questionnaires and observation methods,analyze the error corpus from three aspects of grammatical structure,semantic understanding,and pragmatics,and summarize the internal and external factors of learners' acquisition errors.According to the results of the survey: the subjects' errors in proverb acquisition mainly lie in the following three aspects: distinguishing the concept of proverbs,understanding the meaning of proverbs,and pragmatics.The internal reasons for the formation of errors include learners' learning style,learning strategies,avoidance,and migration;external factors include objective differences in Chinese and Thai proverbs,teaching materials,and teacher factors.Aiming at the reasons for errors,the article puts forward the teaching principles of strengthening grammatical rules,semantic contrast explanation,and creating a pragmatic environment.Using“structure-function-culture” and cultural experience as teaching methods,it designs proverb teaching cases and records the teaching practice process.And compare the results of the two semesters in the proverbs class,reflect on and summarize teachingopinions.The corpus of proverb errors collected in the article and the teaching experience of correcting the errors of proverb acquisition in the article provide teaching cases and methods that can be used for reference for Chinese language teachers in Thailand to predict and correct the errors of students' proverbs.
