With the development of the economy,the China’s film industry has presented a prosperous scene at present.In the background of the booming market,there are many outstanding phenomenon-level films with high box office and strong social response.Since 2017,there are numbers of outstanding Indian films have entered the Chinese film market,which has injected fresh blood into the Chinese film market.These films have won the favor of Chinese film audiences and then set off a phenomenon-level viewing boom.Although India is developing countries in the world,the production scale of Indian films has been very mature.Indian films have been recognized by overseas audiences for their unique style and distinctive artistic characteristics.The experience of successful overseas dissemination of Indian films has provided numerous inspirations to the international dissemination of Chinese films.After the introduction,this article has divided into three chapters to study phenomenon-level Indian films since 2017.The first chapter firstly defines the concept of phenomenon-level films,sorts out the inflection point of the development of Indian films in China,and analyzes the social context of phenomenon-level dissemination of Indian films in China based on the specific national conditions of China.Secondly,this article focused on the text content of phenomenon-level films,analyzed the creative characteristics of Indian films in the aspects of subject selection,theme setting and character image,and discussed the aesthetic style and characteristics contained in phenomenon-level Indian films.The third chapter has combined the advantages and disadvantages of phenomenon-level Indian films,analyzed the limitations and shortcomings of phenomenon-level Indian films,and deeply explored the empirical advantages in the process of international communication,which find a feasible solution to improve the international communication of Chinese films.The final conclusion has summarized the content of previous four chapters.It combined with the current limitations and difficulties faced by China’s domestic filmcreation,proposed ideas and suggestions in details,and appealed more high quality Indian films able to meet with the Chinese audience in the future,also hoped that China able to create more movie world and spread Chinese influence.
