| As an important part of China’s sports career,sports film is one of the constituent elements of national soft power.Enhancing the international competitiveness of China’s sports films helps accelerate the construction of a strong sports nation and contributes to the construction of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics.This thesis uses literature,comparative analysis and observation methods to study the international competitiveness of China’s sports films and its enhancement path,by compiling the development history and current situation of international competitiveness of China’s sports films,analyzing the factors influencing its international competitiveness using the diamond model,and then summarizing the enhancement path and strategies for the international competitiveness of China’s sports films.Research results and conclusions.1.The development history of China’s sports films is divided into the period of inception,the period of "seventeen years",the period of prosperity and the period of innovation,but there are still problems such as lack of depth of characters’ thoughts,overemphasis on collectivism,branding of the times and self-sacrifice elements,and one-sided expression of content showing national characteristics.2.through the international competitiveness of the indicators of measurement,2016-2021 China’s sports film overseas sales revenue on average 190 million yuan /year,the average international market share of 3.4%,66% of the export region is concentrated in Asia.2018 China’s cultural,sports and entertainment full labor productivity of 3639 U.S.dollars / person / year,while the global cultural,sports and entertainment full labor productivity of 6731 U.S.dollars / person / year./ year.Compared with developed countries,the international market share of China’s sports films is low,and the overall quality,export level and international competitiveness need to be improved.3.Based on the diamond model,the positive factors for the development of China’s international competitiveness of sports films are: profound cultural heritage,expanding consumer demand,open cultural and entertainment environment,active sports events,frequent foreign exchanges,favorable national policies and opportunities of the times;the negative factors are: incomplete industrial chain,single type of income,poor cultural exploration,weak construction of film disciplines,few professional talents,old-fashioned creative thinking and insufficient content innovation.The negative factors are: incomplete industry chain,single type of income,poor cultural exploration,weak construction of film disciplines,few professional talents,old ideas of creation and insufficient innovation of content.4.To comprehensively analyze the path to enhance the international competitiveness of China’s sports films,we should focus on the exploration of cultural elements and cultivation of talents,analyze market demand to optimize the quality of creation,actively promote the integration of related industries,strengthen exchanges and mutual understanding with excellent cultures,and grasp favorable policies and the development direction of the times.Research recommendations.1.Policy level: Improve policies related to cultural and sports industries and promote high-quality development of sports films.Improve the sports culture literacy of sports film practitioners and promote the creative ability of sports film talents.2.Creation: Deepen the sports stories in China and promote the sports spirit.Promote sports stories with universal value and trigger empathy among international audiences to improve the international competitiveness of China’s sports films.3.Technical level: innovate sports film production technology and enrich the form of expression.While strengthening the technical innovation of external conditions,it also enriches the internal diversified artistic expression elements.4.International level: build an international dissemination mechanism for outstanding sports films.Film enterprises should actively seek opportunities to participate in international sports film cooperation and actively explore ways to go international. |
