In recent years,with the development of China's economy and the expansion of China's influence,more and more foreigners have started regarding China as the perfect place for personal development,and they want to come to China to study and live.For foreigners,learning Chinese has become a trend.Taking Cameroon as an example,in recent years,more and more attention has been paid to Chinese language teaching,and the Chinese language teaching environment has been continuously improved.Pronunciation is always a difficult problem for Cameroonian students to learn Chinese,especially in the aspect of phonetic errors.Basic problems such as literacy still exist among the international students at the elementary level of Chinese,and the problem of phonetic errors is quite different from that of the international students at the intermediate and advanced level of Chinese,in this paper,the students who study and live in China with intermediate and advanced Chinese level in Cameroon are taken as the research subject,and the results of the research are statistically analyzed by means of a questionnaire,it is found that the Cameroonian students with intermediate and advanced Chinese level have obvious errors in initial consonants and tones,but less errors in vowels.This paper analyzes the causes of the errors,including the negative transfer of the mother tongue,the generalization of the target language knowledge,the learning motivation and strategies of the students,the teaching factors of the teachers and the arrangement of textbooks.In view of these problems,this paper puts forward suggestions from the aspects of teachers' teaching,students' learning and the use of teaching materials.It is hoped that the research in this paper will help Cameroonian students to improve their pronunciation errors and learn Chinese pronunciation well,at the same time,it also provides the reference for the foreign students' pronunciation teaching in other countries.
