Based on the current research results on teaching Chinese as a foreign language,adopting the methods of corpus error analysis,questionnaire surveys,interview methods,this thesis studies the students at the level of intermediate and advanced Chinese language proficiency at Indonesia Bandung International Institute of Foreign Languages(hereinafter referred to as "Wanwai")to probe into their difficulties in writing Chinese characters,and propose specific teaching design and teaching suggestions.This paper argues that the difficulties of students during writing Chinese characters,which are mainly manifested in several aspects,namely,standardization of Chinese characters,stroke order and combination of strokes,errors and omissions,missing parts of Chinese characters,and lack of beauty.It is believed that the negative transfer of mother tongue,the simplification of learning Chinese characters by students,the fear of writing difficulty,the lack of writing opportunities,weak basic teaching at the early stage cause the problem.Therefrom,it summarizes the changes in students' impression about "difficult Chinese characters" and students' cognition of Chinese character writing.It proposes specific Chinese character writing teaching strategies such as increasing students' literacy,increasing students' Chinese character writing opportunities and timely feedback of errors,as well as adopting diversified Chinese character teaching methods and clarifying Chinese character teaching goals. |
