The collections of Classical Chinese stories of martial arts in the Ming and Qing dynasties has some literature value and literary significance on the history of martial arts novels.According to the current literature,there are altogether 14 collections of Classical Chinese stories of martial arts in Ming and Qingdynasties.The author and version of the collections of Classical Chinese stories of martial arts in the Ming and Qing dynasties are rather complicated,whichis reflected in the uncertainty of some authors and the complexity of the version.If the collections are classified according to the contents of the collections,the collections of Classical Chinese stories of martial arts in the Ming and Qing dynasties can be divided into three categories: Knight-errant,skill and courage,mixture.Because a few of themhave an obvious idea of women's progress,so another kind of women's chivalry.The compilation and selection style of Ming and Qing martial arts literary novels can be reflected from the features of the catalogue of the works and the form and scope of the collection of the works.The compilation and selection ideas include the fantastic idea of swordsmanship,the idea of showing off weapons and showing off skills,the idea of progressive women and the confucian moral concept.The case study of the collections of Classical Chinese stories of martial arts in Ming and Qing dynasties mainly focuseson the compilation and selection features of Jian Xia Zhuan,was written in the Ming dynasty,the commentary features of zhou shiya's Zeng Ding Jian Xia Zhuan,and the creation features of Lin shu's Ji Ji Yu Wen.The systematic appearance of the Classical Chinese stories of martial arts in Ming and Qing dynasties promoted the compilation and creation of martial arts stories in the early Republic of China,extendedthe development framework of martial arts stories,and promoted the inheritance and dissemination of Chinese martial arts culture.
