This article takes Susong dialect vocabulary comparison as the starting point, and examines the differences in the use of vocabulary of the three generations of the old, middle and young generations from various angles, and thus examines the changes of Susong dialect vocabulary. The research methods are mainly field investigation method, quantitative and qualitative combination method, comparative analysis method. The inter-generational commonalities and differences between Susong dialect vocabulary. The vocabulary of Susong dialect varies from generation to generation, and the change between the old and middle generations is slower than that of the middle and young generations. The vocabulary of different semantic categories changes at different speeds.Kindred, astronomy, agriculture, red and white events and other vocabulary changes are most active. In general, the difference between the old and middle generations of different semantic vocabulary is mainly reflected in whether the middle-aged generation retains the words of the old generation. The difference between the young generation and the old and middle generations is mainly caused by the use of new words by the young generation. From the phonological point of view, the three generations of single-syllable words,double-syllable words, and multi-syllable words of the old,middle-aged and young generations have different trends, but the double-syllable words still dominate. There are AA,AAB,AABC/AABCD,and AAB syllable overlapping forms in the Susong dialect. The younger generation has more syllable overlapping forms than the old and middle generations. From the perspective of constituents, the intergenerational differences between old and young Chinese vocabulary can be divided into four parts: replacing partial constituents, replacing all constituents, adding and deleting partial constituents, and reversing the order of constituents. In relation or subordinate relationship, the addition and deletion components are generally modified components, synonymouscomponents, supporting components, affixes, and polyphonic components. It is most common to replace some constituents in intergenerational differences, followed by replacing all constituents, and the least reverse order of constituents.Judging from the choice of grammatical units, there are differences in the expressions of words and phrases used by Lao Zhongqing. Two different grammatical units of words or phrases may be used for different generations of the same word.It is possible to use both grammatical units of words and phrases. There are also differences in the use of localized expressions such as the "verb/verb phrase +individual" format, and the "noun + one + verb + dynamic auxiliary word(writing, inverted)" format. From the perspective of word formation, the frequency of use of word formation and metaphor formation in the two generations of old and Chinese is higher than that of the young generation. The inter-generational differences of Susong dialect vocabulary are caused by social, cognitive, personal, and internal language systems.
