Petty Officers are an important part of the Armed Police Force.It is showing the increasing status and irreplaceable role in carrying out the mission and functions of the Armed Police Force and promoting the comprehensive construction of the Armed Police Force,.With the continued development of the economy,the deepening of the social reform,petty officers are faced with some difficulties and problems,and form some new need.These trouble their life and work and affect the construction and development of the Armed Police Force seriously.However,the current motivation effect of Petty Officers in the Armed Police Force is not obvious.It can not fully mobilize the enthusiasm of Petty officers.Therefore,It is necesarry to research the motivation of Petty Officers,in order to stimulate their enthusiasm and enhance the combat effectiveness.Through questionnaires and individual interviews,the thessis got a lot of first-hand information.And we know the main need of Petty Officers,analyze the existing incentives,and give some policy proposals.First of all,the thessis defines the basic concept of Petty Officers,motivation and introduces the economy and management theory basis of motivation.Then,,It analyzes the current problems and the current motivation,as well as the need and the need structure of different types of Petty Officers.Finally,It designs targeted motivation means.They are compensation motivation,competition motivation,training and development motivation,promotion motivation and the spirit motivation etc.There are some innovation in the thesis.First,in addition to the compensation reform proposals,It particularly emphasises the promotion incentives,competition motivation,as well as training and development etc.The competition motivation and promotion motivation mentioned in the article are not implemented in the Armed Police Force.Second,in the guidance of the theory of incentives,It designs motivation system through a survey,statistics and analysis.It is practical and operational.Third,this article draws lessons from the incentive experience of local government and enterprises,the theory and methods of the military experts and scholars on military human resources management.It researches at Category,related to the actual situation of Petty Officers in the Armed Police Force.A comparative study is carried out for different types of Petty officers put forward corresponding incentives.Fourth,this paper links different performance and different reward in implemengting the competion motivation,breaking the phenomenon of egalitarianism.In particular,the construction of the Armed Police Force Petty officers' performance evaluation system is good for the research of Petty officers' performance.It will certainly play a supporting role in carrying out the competition motivation.
