Study Of Motivation Mechanism For Correctional Police In The Public Security Bureau Of X City

Correctional department is an important department in China's socialist system of law with Chinese characteristics.It takes important and special role in China's public security administration.However,the current mechanism for correctional police management has seen many problems to keep up with the demands when both social security circumstance and the country's economics has been rapidly developed,especially the current motivation mechanism,because of the defects in design,led to unsatisfying outcome in motivating police's performance and has become an obstacle for the sustainable development of public security administration.It is an important content in police human resource management to study the establishment of a scientific and reasonable motivation mechanism in order to activate motivation regulation's full function and then to motivate correctional police's performance in their work.This thesis is to study the motivation mechanism at correctional department in the public security bureau of X City,in order to find out the defects in the aspects of salary and welfare,job security,career development,as well as organization and culture.The study is based on a series of modem motivation theories and the recent research findings,with survey,investigation,interviews,as well as the application of quantitative and qualitative analysis,as study methods.In order to seek good solution to the above problems in motivation mechanism,the thesis also analyzes the needs of correctional police,presents the principles to improve motivation mechanism at correctional department in public security bureau of X City.Then the thesis presents a general improvement strategy including the regulation system on salary and welfare,job security,job promotion,assessment and punishment as well as construction of organization and culture.The detailed measurements are then provided,too.The whole study is expected to provide support for public security bureau of X City to optimize its correctional department'smotivation mechanism and the whole police human resource management.
