"Huoren":the Cultural Logic Basis Of Peasants' Behaivor In The Land Reform

Based on history from the party of the land reform in four villiages(Bei Guan Cun,Nan Guan Cun,Dong Guan Cun,Miao Di Cun)in Guwei,Ruicheng,Shanxi province,by taking the land reform movement jfrom 1947 to 1948 as its background,and by comparing the villagers' behavior changes before and after this movement,the author found that the land reform movement in Ruicheng County was not as intense as the rural areas,which was mild land reform.Therefore,there are some certain laws about the villiages5 behavior in this movement.First,as far as the poor peasants,they respected each other before the land reform,then beeame the "spectators,during the land reform,but after the land reform,they were not hostile to those who were in high class status,and positively make friends with the landlords and rich peasants.Second,as far as the middle peasants,they were addicated in the interpersonal communication in the villiage before the land reform,then became the "oil spill" and even fled away during the land reform,however,they could renew their interpersonal relationship after the land reform.Third,as far as the landlords and rich peasants,they put value just above material gains,they even rescued the caught the Communist Party's underground workers regardless of danger,then they were well cooperated during the land reform,and after the land reform,they actively adjusted their role in interpersonal communication.Therefore,from the perspective of village culture,and by attempting to put together t he folk culture and the political behavior of villagers,as well as by showing the cultural b asis of behaviors of poor peasants,middle peasants,and landlords and rich peasants,this paper tries to explore that how does the Shanxi merchants culture influence the lives of t he villagers as well as the formation of their unique behavior logic in the land reform.The author described this phenomenon as "huoren"(which means the importance of interpers onal communication).By exploring the relationship between culture and behavior,we can know about the relationship between culture behavior and political behavior.In the end,th e paper'sbasic conclusion is:the Shanxi merchants culture implicated the cultural atmosphere that pay great attention to interpersonal communication,and on the country,culture also curbs people,s behavior.Therefore,culture is the motivation of the emergence of political behavior.
