A Study On The Political Integration Function Of The Communist Party Of China Under The Perspective Of Network Politics

Political integration is an important category of research in the domains of politics and culture;particularly,the political integration of the Communist Party of China(CPC)constitutes a major theoretical and practical research subject associated with the construction of the Party's governance capacity and the promotion of social development,as well as an important foundation for the existence and development of the political system.With comprehensive advances of economic and other institutional reforms since the initiation of the reform and opening-up policy,the Chinese society has progressively shifted into a transitional period.The continuous social stratification and the coexistence of a diversified interest structure has prompted an increasingly intensified consciousness in various stakeholders to express their demands,along with the emergence of intertwined conflicts of interests in various forms.Therefore,how to maintain coordination among all parties,well address a variety of new situations and problems occurring in the process of reform,and promote a sustained and steadily social development has become a pressing theoretical and practical problem that needs to be addressed for the political integration of the CPC in the current stage.In the meantime,given the rapid development of the network technology in recent years,network politics,an emerging and broadly influential mode for citizens to participate in politics,has become an important approach and means for Chinese masses to participate in political life,express political opinions and demands,and defend political rights and interests.During a period starting from the "Year One of Network politics" in 2008 to its expansion of the "Year One of Administrative Micro Blog" in 2011,network politics had broadened communicative channels between the administration party and the public masses,alleviated a variety of implicit or explicit conflicts of interests,heightened the relationship between the administration party and the general public,and facilitated the coordinative and orderly development of the current Chinese society.Nonetheless,it has also imposed great challenges on the political integration and governance capacity of the administration party.As such,focusing on the main subject of the study-the political integration of the Party,this paper examined the functional characteristics of the CPC's political integration in the current stage and the challenges in the face of it from a perspective of network politics,with a view to explore the routes for its advancement.
