The Research Of The Government Function Based On The Development Of The Characteristic Cultural Tourism

Tourism occupies a considerable proportion in the service industry.The development of the tourism industry well enlarges the employment,increases the residents income and promotes the development of the regional economy.Especially in the backward area of the midwest of China,the development of the characteristic tourism plays an important role in the regional economic development.The local government,as the guidence of the tourism industry development,should concentrate and hold on the characteristics,stimulate vitality of all factors,take full advantage of the functions of the government and promote the development of characteristic tourism.In this dissertation,we focus on the function of Lintan government based on the the characteristic cultural tourism development of the Yeliguan tourist area and summarize the characteristics of local governments in this process.According to the analyses of the advantage and disadvantage of the local government,as well as the the research at home and abroad,we give some constructive comments and suggestions for the local government in the development of characteristic cultural tourism development.Those comments and suggestions are very useful to the government to do better in the future.There are four chapters in this thesis.In the first chapter we present a theoretical foundation for the development of cultural tourism through introducing the concepts of the cultural tourism,the functions of the government and the government’s leading tourism development et al.In the second chapter,we briefly describes the cultural tourism resources and the tourism development situation of Yeliguan tourist area.It reveals that the Yeliguan toursit area has the qualities to develop characteristic cultural tourism.It also shows that it is a typical case to study the government functions in the developing of the characteristic cultural tourism development in the region.In the third chapter,we summarize the functions of the governmentin developing the characteristic cultural tourism development in the region.It includes the functions of strategic planning,the management,the supervision,the infrastructure construction,the propaganda and popularization andthe function of talent training.In the fourth chapter,based on the development status of characteristic culture tourism,we fully analysis the problems and shortage that exist in local government.Some corresponding countermeasures and constructive suggestions are provided.
