Nanjing is an famous historical-cultural city in China and oversea. The elevation of standard of living and science accomplishment of people during the last decades make them try to persue scientific and cultural knowledge. Along with that, The desire for pursuing knowledge of people has become more and more strong. Due to cultural tourism satisfies demand for understanding foreign (or heterogeneous) culture of tourist, it has gain more attention of tourist and become future hotspot of Nanjing tourism. Based on status quo of cultural tourist resources in Nanjing , the thesis analyzes product of cultural tourism and point out emphasis and advice for cultural tourism in Nanjing. The author hopes that the thesis can be beneficial to development of cultural tourism in Nanjing.Chapter 1 starts with the research background of culture tourism, then summarizes recent research situation in China and oveseas, provides research component of the thesis and the way of study.In chapter 2, the thesis starts with confirming the basic conception of "culture, cultural tourism", then differentiates and analysis similarity and differences of two conceptions "cultural tourism" and "tourist culture", discuss connection of culture and tourism.Chapter 3 simple introduces general situation of Nanjing and analyzes natural and historical background of cultural tourism, furthermore presents development situation of cultural tourism in Nanjing. From product and sales promotion's point of view, the thesis puts forward development strategy of cultural tourism in Nanjing.In chapter 4, after analyzing distinctive feature of cultural tourism in Nanjing, the thesis provides development direction of cultural tourism in Nanjing from 8 sections. Then author probes into problems of development of cultural resources and puts forward corresponding resolve way.Basing on production framework of cultural tourism in Nanjing, chapter 4 provides right cultural tourism product in allusion to subsection of market of cultural tourism. Finally chapter 4 studies the case of cultural tourism product of MingGuo.In chapter 6,the thesis provides cultural visualization plan of tourist destination in Nanjing and confirms tourist visualization of Nanjing-"capital of humanlity " and publicizing catchword of promotion sales.
