Nowadays,after a newly-round exploration into the hotline of the government services,pronounced progress has been made.It's known that government hotlines can better perform its public services.The hotline can offer a timely and effective channel for the government to learn from the daily problems confronting its citizens.Consequently,government efficiency can be greatly improved.Specifically,the hotline is actually a two-way channel in which the government can resolve certain problems in a timely and effective manner and the citizens can also supervise the public services performed by the government.In summary,the establishment of government public hotline can definitely enhance government's ability to better serve its citizens and promote its working efficiency.From the perspective that public service hotline can in turn promote the government's integrated competence,the paper has conducted a comprehensive study covering the background knowledge of the public services hotline,its development history and current status.The focus of the research is on the potential problems emerging from the daily operations of public services hotline.By learning from the experiences of certain successful operating government public services hotlines,proposals aiming at optimizing the public government service hotline are put forward.The paper consists of three chapters.The first chapter introduces the background of the thesis by reviewing literatures and summarizing the new contributions made in this chapter.As an example,the first chapter presents the background and development history of the government public service hotlines in WuXi City,Jiangsu Province.Meanwhile,based on its framework,operating system and current situation,the paper offers a review of the current performance of this public service hotline.Based on the review,the paper points out certain problems hidden in the hotline system.The second chapter offers the summary of the experiences of successful government public hotlines at home and abroad.Based on the previous analysis the third chapter puts forward proposals aiming at improving the government competence by enhancing public service hotlines.
