Frontier region is on the brink of a country's politics and culture,as well as the geographical space area,often bordering with two or more countries.China has a large territory,a long border,and a large number of peoples.Through the ages,the frontier area has been the main region where the Chinese nation conducts foreign exchanges and makes their own life development,and it is of great importance to maintain social stability,guard the border peace and make the social progress.Thus,frontier region plays an extremely important role in the geopolitics.Yunnan province,located in China's southwest frontier,is one of the important provinces under the development of the western region,"thirteen five" plan," One Belt And One Road"initiative and the South Asia Southeast Asia radiation center implementation,which is the frontier province open to the southwest.Relying on the location advantages and the accumulation of international cooperation advantages,and resorting to the General Secretary Xi Jinping's "three positioning",to accelerate the construction process of national unity and progress demonstration area,has important value of enhancing the economic impact of Yunnan Province and practicing across the full realization of a well-off society.Yunnan Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture(hereinafter referred to as "Honghe Prefecture"),which took the lead in carrying out "national unity demonstration activities" as early as 1992,has made brilliant achievements and accumulated a wealth of experience.Therefore,to study and to sum up the experiences of the construction of the national unity and progress demonstration area of the Honghe,can provide a typical demonstration of national unity and construction for the province and the nation,and also provide some references for the improvement of our country's border management system.This thesis entitled "Research on the Construction of Yunnan National Unity and Progress Demonstration Area under the View of Borderland Administration—Taking Honghe Prefecture as an Example ",firstly discusses the research purpose,background and significance,secondly introduces the related theoretical supports and literature review of the frontier and its corresponding regulation and national unity.Thirdly,the thesis makes a literature review about the development of Yunnan national unity and progress,and studies its effects on the frontier regulation.Fourthly,we further analyzes the basic experience and value of the construction of the national unity and progress demonstration area of the Honghe Prefecture.Fifthly,we investigate the current situation of the national unity and progress demonstration area of the Honghe Prefecture from four aspects,such as ethnic cohabitation,mutual respect,ethnic interaction and borderland governance environment change.This paper discusses the impact of the changes in the construction of the national unity and progress demonstration area from the view of inter-ethnic,inter-ethnic and inter-ethnic exchanges and border management,respectively.Finally,on how to promote the construction of Yunnan national unity and progress demonstration area Suggestions.We must speed up the process of national economic development and promote national social interaction;enrich Yunnan ethnic theory content,enhance national political identity;improve national civilization construction,strengthen cultural identity;accelerate national legal system construction process,national identity environment.
