Jingpo,living in the Sino-Burmese border,is a unique cross-border ethnic group in Yunnan.Historily,Jingpo has the distinct education traditions of their family and community.Because of the process of social modernization and the impact of globalization,however,the situation of Jingpo's education is facing many difficulties.This thesis aims at the ethnography of the "Proproots",showing the interaction of all parties and the personalized educational idea and practice,and showing that how it shapes the changing of these Jingpo children.Morever,it also covers the deficiency of family education and rural school by having a vital impact on Jingpo traditional family education and community education.In the first chapter,it traces the history,reviewing and thinking.In this Gongyin Jingpo village,there are a lots of problems of family education,community education and rural school.Thus,Jingpo chidren's education is in trouble.From the social perspective,narcotic drugs,domestic violence and the transformation of school studies and employment also affect Jingpo chidren's education.In the second chapter,it explains theshowing the cultural interaction of foreign cuture and local cuture.The founders establishment process of "Proproots",support the personalized education of personal identity and ethnic identity,and"Proproots" always learn from local culture.In the third chapter,it shows specific activities of "Proproots",which roots in Jingpo culture deeply and paves ways for it development.In the forth chapter,it shows the influences of "Proproots" by case analysis,and it may enlightens education.Conclusion is about new education type and local culture,which brings complementary effect.Then make some reflex about ethnic education.
