A Study On The Prevention Of Drug-related Crime In Special Populations

Drug crime always lacked of effective control,which usually caused other criminals,not only affecting the social order,but also a social problem for the grass-roots party committee and government.Recent years,the special population,who hadn't been published by the law effectively,made use of their physical characteristics and special legal status to engage in drug-related crimes unscrupulously.For this reason,it formed the regional crime sub-cultural phenomenon.Others,who had the similar physical characteristics,followed the criminal behavior,causing the decline of credibility of police judicial administrative organs,affecting the regional social order and economic development seriously.To solve the judicial and social problems in social practice,it is necessary to prevent drug-related crime in special population in advance.Research methods had been used in this paper including case study,literature collection and interview.The first part is the introduction,which introduces the background and research significance of the study of drug-related crime in special population,and explains the concept of drug crime in special population.By reviewing the relevant literature,the shortcomings of the existing research on drug crime prevention in special population are found The second part analyzes the feasibility and necessity of drug-related crime in special population.In this part,it mainly introduces the dangers of drug-related crime in special population,discusses the legal value of the prevention of drug-related crime in special population,and explains the feasibility of the prevention of drug-related crime in the special population.The third part analyzes the present situation and reasons of the drug crime in the special population by referencing the data of the anti-drug work of the police in Yiliang area from 2007 to 2016.The fourth part is the most important part of this paper,which is to put forward some practical suggestions for the drug crime in special population,including improving the performance appraisal mechanism of police judicial administrative organs,developing practical criminal policies,increasing the education of drug crime among the public and digging civil forces to prevent drug crime.Wish these proposals will play a role in curbing the occurrence of special drug-related crime,building a safe and stable social order and promoting the credibility of the police judicial organs.
