| The spread of Christianity in Dali,Yunnan province has a history of more than one hundred years.With the rapid changes of society,the traditional belief structure and spatial pattern of Bai minority have undergone a process of deconstruction and reconstruction.Christianity,as a foreign religion,finally has a specific impact on the believers’ community life of Bai minority through a series of adjustment and embedding activities after entering this community.At present,Dali is a multi-religion coexistence area of ethnic minorities with relatively harmonious ethnic and religious relations.This research on the community life of embedded Christian belief has an important theoretical and practical significance under this background.In the first and second chapters,it analyzes the cultural background,communication stage and development of Christianity in L community of Binchuan,Dali,Yunnan province.Then,in the third chapter,it presents the changed community environment of Bai Christians’ belief and the factors that influence their belief choice by rational choice theory.Next,in the fourth chapter,it discusses the community life and relationship network of Bai minority Christians with its embedded belief from the perspective of sacredness and secularism.Finally,in the last Chapter,it explores the function of Christian belief in their community life of Bai people and its multiple risks,then,it proposes relevant strategies for the adaptation of believers in Christian community.In the end,it shows the summary and future of Christianity localization from two logical points of faith selection and community embedding.In this article,it is found that the process of Christian dissemination and adaptation in a community is actually a process of localization of foreign religions.The Christian’s community life in L church is a kind of life under the adaptation and reconstruction of consanguinity,geography,profession and belief relationship.The essence of the harmonious coexistence of multi-religion is a virtuous coordination of national embedding,religious embedding and community life embedding.It is in this way that Christianity has adapted to the culture and life of Bai people,thus gaining a foothold in ethnic areas with traditional beliefs. |
