A Study On Philippines Terrorism In Post 9/11 Era

After 9/11,as the United States and other Western countries step up the fight against terrorism,the activities of international terrorist organizations in these countries have been severely restricted,which forced some terrorists to shift to countries that was objectively difficult to combat terrorism such as the Philippines.It causes a sharp rise in terrorist activities of Philippines.In order to more in-depth understanding the development and change of Philippines terrorism and other issues,this paper on the bases of existing domestic and foreign research results,chose the Philippines terrorist groups as a breakthrough point,the Philippines terrorist incident facts as the basis,through the literature analysis,qualitative and quantitative analysis and comparative analysis,to tease out the development of terrorism in the Philippines before and after9/11,then makes an in-depth study on the characteristics of the development and the reason of the development and future development trends of terrorism in the Philippines in the post 9/11 era.In general,the development of Philippines terrorism have shown that terrorism has become more and more compatible with national separatism and religious extremism,and the means of terrorist activities have become increasingly diversified.The characteristics of expanding the scope of attack targets and strengthening the interaction of terrorism at home and abroad in the post 9/11 era.The development and change of Philippines terrorism in this period is influenced by various factors,such as geographical factors,political factors,economic factors and extra-territorial factors in the post911 era.In the future,the development of Philippines terrorism will show a worsening trend.
