A Study On Indonesian Marine Economic Cooperation With Other Countries

In 2014,President Joko proposed the “Global Maritime Axis”strategy and clearly stated that the development of Indonesian marine economy cannot be separated from domestic practice and international cooperation,and called for more countries to participate in Indonesian marine economic construction.With the promotion of this strategy,Indonesian marine economy has witnessed an increase in the external cooperation and development.The cooperation involves offshore oil and gas industry,marine fisheries,coastal tourism,marine transportation and so on.The foreign cooperation has become a new bright spot for the development of Indonesian marine economy.In order to further understand the development of Indonesian marine economic cooperation and other issues,this thesis takes the strategy of“Global Maritime Axis” as the background,taking the present situation of Indonesian marine economic development as a breakthrough point,based on the basic situation of Indonesian marine economic cooperation,using data analysis,comparative study and quantitative qualitative analysis.The first part is mainly to sort out the current situation of Indonesian marine economic development,and clarify the general situation of Indonesian marine economic development.The second part analyzes the present situation of the Indonesian marine economic cooperation.First,it expounds the present situation of the Indonesian marine economic cooperation from the promotion of foreign cooperation measures by the government of Joko,and then analyzes the characteristics,reasons,influences and problems of the Indonesian marine economic cooperation.The foreign cooperation of the marine economy is still in the “bring in”strategy.Its remarkable feature is that it is highly dependent on foreign investment,and the influence of the foreign cooperation on the marine economy is beneficial,as well as the disadvantages,and there are still some problems that obstruct the process of foreign cooperation.The thirdpart,based on the research on the external cooperation of Indonesian marine economy,puts forward some specific suggestions for the development of Chinese marine economic cooperation with other countries.On the whole,Indonesian external cooperation in the marine economy is both opportunities and challenges.Weighing the role of external cooperation is more beneficial than disadvantages,Indonesia should seize the opportunity to adhere to the external cooperation and promote the sustainable development of the marine economy.
