An Empirical Study On China's National Quality And Economic Growth

The national quality is an essential soft power which directly influences the development of the country.So that it has become an important driving force of China's economic growth.In this paper,we use the factor analysis method to extract the public factor approximation on behalf of the original variables,as measured by national quality indicators.Meanwhile we use clustering analysis of the nationwide national quality scores to classify the level of national quality of 31 provinces and cities.The result is aimed to estimate the relationship between the national quality and economic development based on the regional differences.The data is collected from China statistical yearbook,China statistical yearbook and China statistical yearbook of labor in society excerpts from 2005 to 2013.This paper comes to the conclusion that economic development and national quality are inseparable.During the economic construction period,we need to pay attention to national quality especially the six factors of the national quality index system,in order to improve our national quality.We should make efforts on three aspects:the economic development itself,the institutional guarantees and all-round education reform.Finally this paper put forward pertinent suggestions:Firstly,not only force on the quantity of economic development but also on the structure and the quality,including promoting industrial structure adjustment,narrowing regional gap and the gap between rich and poor and encouraging innovation.Secondly,we should establish a sound social security and institutional guarantee to create a favorable atmosphere for the improvement of the national quality.Thirdly,we will continue to carry out the strategic policy of developing the country through science and education,attach great importance to the synchronization of ideological and financial support,and comprehensively improve the education system in China.
