A Study On Case Management In Mandatory Isolation Of Detoxification Personnel

Accompanying with the circulation and abuse of drugs,drug abusers are directly exposed to bad heath and family unhappiness,and social problems arising from drug addiction have severely influenced the harmonious and stable development of our society.Based on the practice of mandatory isolation of detoxification personnel in all regions,whether the drug addicts compulsively isolated can return to the society smoothly has become the key factor for successful detoxification.In this regard,case managers uphold the working concept of “intervention prior to detoxification,seamless connection during detoxification,subsequent tracing after detoxification” on patients abstained from drugs.And case management services are provided by structuring the professional relationship that is trusting and equivalent.Through On-the-spot visit and questionnaire investigation,this study deeply understands the problem and the prominent characteristic of mandatory isolation detoxification personnel in H city,sums up the feasibility and necessity on the case management of mandatory isolation of detoxification personnel.Then the paper selects the case of Li to explore the various problems of service objects based on the guidance of the social support theory,ABC theory,Virginia Satir Family Therapy from the perspective of professional help of case management,actively links resources,builds a service network,to help them ease anxiety and consolidate the confidence of detoxification.During the 10 case management services and follow-up work,the case manager practices the concept of "helping others to help themselves",and applied the professional skills such as focus,listening and empathy and so on to strictly abide by social work ethic.The service object realizes qualitative breakthrough from the alert attitude and even questioning the service targets at the primary stage to the rebuilding of the life confidence and acknowledge and appreciate the case management at the final stage.The author objectively reflects on the inadequacies of this case management this time and carries out double evaluations of the process and effectiveness,and puts forward bold ideas and suggestions for the development ofcase management in the future,so as to provide reference for the case management of mandatory isolation of detoxification personnel.
