In the contemporary business community, many outstanding entrepreneurs are military veterans who have participated in the military experience, such as Huayi Brothers Corp.Wang Zhongjun,Huawei Group Ren Zhengfei, and others. The academic community is accustomed to calling these entrepreneurs military entrepreneurs. The enterprises led by military entrepreneurs can often perform better in their industries.Whether or not an entrepreneur’s military experience will enable the company to achieve better performance, and how will the performance benefits of military entrepreneurs be brought about? What about? Current research and examples show that some entrepreneurs with experience in the military will show some military characteristics during the management and operation of the company. The unique characteristics of such soldiers may bring better business performance to their companies. There are many scholars conducting studies on the influence of entrepreneurial background and experience on corporate performance. However, most of them study the background of demographics of entrepreneurs, political background, academic experience, and industry experience, etc.,and entrepreneurial military experience has affected corporate performance. There is little research, and at the same time, military entrepreneurs have no idea about whether they have a positive influence on the company. In view of this, exploring the influence of the entrepreneurial experience of the military on enterprise performance has a certain significance for enriching the relevant theories of entrepreneurial background traits and for enterprises to cultivate outstanding entrepreneurial spirit. In order to explore the influence of the entrepreneurial experience of the military on enterprise performance, the thesis reviewed and combed relevant documents such as entrepreneurial background characteristics, military experience, and risk appetite.Using high-level theory and Freud’s psychoanalysis theory as the theoretical basis, this paper discusses the relationship among entrepreneurial experience, risk appetite, and corporate performance, and summarizes the intrinsic mechanism of action among the three. This article reviews the relevant literature, proposes research hypotheses and theoretical models, then collects relevant data and conducts empirical analysis of relevant data.Itincludes descriptive statistical analysis of variables such as entrepreneurial experience, risk appetite, corporate equity nature, and corporate performance, independent sample T-test,correlation analysis, and linear regression analysis.Through empirical analysis,it is proved that entrepreneurial experience has a positive impact on corporate performance, and that entrepreneurial risk appetite and the nature of corporate equity play a mediating role. This thesis uses risk appraisal as a perspective to study the impact of entrepreneurial experience on corporate performance. It not only expands the research scope of entrepreneurial background features, but also helps to enrich the research theory of entrepreneurial traits and corporate performance influencing factors. In addition, this paper uses the risk preference and the nature of the company’s equity as intermediary variables to construct an intermediary model of the entrepreneur’s experience of the military’s experiences with the company’s performance. It provides a new research perspective for studying the influence of the entrepreneurial experience on the company’s performance. Finally, according to empirical research and analysis results, some suggestions are put forward for the company’s strategy related practice.
