Moral character is the foundation of human being.Under the background of a pluralistic society,children’s moral judgment and moral practice ability are more important.The period in Young Pioneers is the golden age of children’ s development of moral character,which is the foundation of personality formation and will influence one’ s life.As an important part of moral education in school,the Young Pioneers’ activities can promote the development of moral education in school,and broaden the path of the development of children’s moral cognition and practice.In reality,as an important carrier of children’s moral education,the Young Pioneers’ activities have the content and purpose of promoting the moral cultivation of juvenile children.It not only fits the basic principles of moral education,but also conforms to the psychological characteristics and needs of children.And from the four dimensions of human and self,human and others,human and society,human and nature,it reveals the implications of moral education,including building individual life,establishing harmonious interpersonal relationship,setting up the collective idea,and protecting nature.Of course,the implementation of these implications depends on strong external support,various moral resources,rich moral processes and moral self-consciousness of subjects.However,in the current practice,the moral education of the Young Pioneers’ activities is confronted with difficulties in many aspects.These difficulties mainly include four aspects,respectively,the external guarantees are not in place,the development intensity of resources are not enough,the process is too stylized,the subjective consciousness of the active subjects is not clear.In view of the above problems,some suggestions are put forward to promote the moral education of the Young Pioneers’ activities.First,strengthen the external support by increasing enforcement of school and strengthening the connection between school and families.Second,strengthen research on resources by developing various resources in school and community.Third,improve activity process by promoting multiple evaluation,strengthening ceremony education and presenting the aesthetic feeling.Fourth,train the subjective consciousness by fitting the young pioneers’ physical and mental development and identifying counselors’ professional roles.
