Research On Anti-Corruption System During The Yongzheng Period

Kangxi was famous for tolerance and advocating the rule of virtue.In the old years of Emperor Kangxi,due to his old age and weak health,Prince Edward's problem took most of his energy,resulting in the relaxation of corruption in the later period of Emperor Kangxi,corruption prevailed,the various drawbacks of the feudal system,and the sharp class contradictions.After Yongzheng took over,who drastically formulated a series of policies to regulate and punish corruption and implement reforms,bacause he wanted to strength the imperial power and safeguard the long-term stability of authoritarian rule and resolve all kinds of evils that occurred in the last years of the reign of Emperor Kangxi.Yongzheng had to a certain extent,realized the situation of "political peace",who through the implementation of the systems of prevention,picket and punishment.At present,China's economic is having a rapid development and various kinds of economic crimes are emerging one after another.However,the imperfect legal system,the uneven quality of the public service personnel,the imperfect civil service assessment system and the supervision system have all fostered the corruption of public officials.Therefore,it has a great practical significance to draw lessons from the experiences of the Yongzheng government administration and the punishment of official corruption.By studying the anti-corruption system during the Yongzheng period,we realized that the punishment of corruption involves a wide range of issues and can't be achieved overnight.At once,we should establish a long-term anti-corruption mechanism in anti-corruption work,improve the talent selection system,improve supervision,increase the punishment of corruption,pay attention to education,and gradually start to achieve the goal of not being able to rot to not corrupt.
