With the rapid development of volunteer service,voluntary service organizations have increased rapidly.It is not only contributing to social progress,but also causing some problems.Based on the theory of social interaction and the method of case study,this study takes Z City Red Cross Volunteer Service Group as an example to study the voluntary failure in the process of voluntary service.It is found that there are four groups of important interactions in and out of voluntary service organizations.They are self-interaction of volunteers in organizations,interaction among volunteers in organizations,interaction between organizations and organizations,and interaction between organizations and clients.From the four groups of interaction,this study evaluates and analyzes the voluntary failure of voluntary service organizations,and finds that the main causes and problems of voluntary failure of voluntary service organizations in the following four points:1)In the aspect of self-interaction of volunteers in the organization,the singularity of organizational culture leads to the value function of altruism being too strong,and weakens the other functional needs of volunteers to participate in volunteer service.2)In the aspect of the interaction between the volunteers in the organization,the lack of the reform system of the organizational structure and the way of communicating with the ordinary volunteers caused the instability of the extraordinary authority in the organization and the phenomenon that trust could not extend to the ordinary volunteer group;3)In the aspect of organization interaction with other organizations,influenced by government.market forces and lack of coordination mechanism within the industry,the charity resources in interaction with social managers,other voluntary service organizations and enterprises are insufficient.distribution imbalance and the single type;4)In the aspect of interaction with clients,"vulnerable group" replaces "clients" in service concept,social manager needs accommodation,professional person absence has resulted in the particularity of charity concerned people and the amateur of carrying out services.Finally,it is pointed out that the reliable way to solve the volunteer failure is to focus on the four groups of interaction by organizational culture,organizational structure,organizational resource management and organizational capacity building.
