Case Work Involved In Spiritual Comfort Of Urban Elderly Empty-nesters

The transformation of modern society not only gave birth to the special vulnerable group of the elderly,but also strengthened their need for spiritual comfort.Based on the field investigation of W community,this paper finds that the main factors affecting the spiritual comfort of the elderly in urban empty nests are their own negative feelings,the disintegration of the family internal structure and the universal formalization of community service for the elderly.The main ways to fill this gap are to change the old people's wrong self-cognition,to repair the broken family relationship and to improve the elderly's community support network.The practice of case work intervention shows that in the background of the life of the empty nest family,only by forming a combination of the individual,the family and the community,can help the elderly to establish a rational understanding of the old and empty nests while repairing the rift in the family relationship,can they distract the elderly from the decline of the body and negative emotions,and then join in the community activities,In order to meet the spiritual comfort needs of the elderly improve their quality of life in old age.
